Life is a journey full of choices. And everyone is going somewhere. Some take an easy path, the others a road less traveled. One leads to destruction, the other to life. Which way are you going?
Check out this video and hear what Student Life Camp is all about from other students like you.
"The Pier" brings exciting and new opportunities for ministries in our student ministry. The Tiki Hut Café seats over sixty and serves hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, a variety of snacks, and fountain drinks.
The Boardwalk Gameroom features Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and other video & electronic games, pool tables, and air hockey.
Students may purchase shirts, Bibles, CD's, and other items at "The Bait Trap" (based on James 1:14) as well as pick up prizes they win during PIER 4:19, our Wednesday night worship.
Every Wednesday during the school year, we meet on Wednesday at 6:30pm for Pier 4:19. This is your chance every week to find an oasis from all of the craziness. Of course, we have a little craziness of our own. With the Tiki Hut Cafe, Boardwalk Gameroom , Bait Trap, games, LOUD music, awesome preaching, baptism, and much more you will find that this is not church as you remember it. Plus, you get to be around Floyd and David. What's better than that?! (OK, all the other stuff I listed is better than that, but still...)
Wednesday nights during the summer, we strip away the lights and the production and get together for the purpose of fellowship, worship, and exploring God's plan for our lives through His Word. There are small groups, topical Bible Studies, acoustic worship, and much more. All Access meets in the Pier from 6:00-8:00pm starting May 30.
High School Students - You screamed in jealousy every Tuesday last summer as you watched Middle School students having a blast at Beach Bums; we listened, and now you have H.S.O. On the Tuesdays where there is no M.S.B.B. we will be hanging with High School students doing the summertime things that you love. Check out the Summer Calendar or the weekly Pier Forecast for details.
Middle School students - If you're bored on Tuesdays during the summer, we will give you a chance to get out of the house and spend some time hanging out with your Student Ministry staff and Interns on trips to the beach, bowling, or just hanging out in the Pier. Check out the Summer Calendar or the weekly Pier Forecast for details.
Every Sunday morning in the Pier, we have Life Groups for our students. Middle School meets at 9:30 and High School meets at 11:00. These groups are a great way for you to connect with other teenagers that are your age in order to plug into what Hillcrest really has to offer. We meet as a large group first and then breakout into groups according to grade and gender. Oh, and did I mention Krispy Kreme?
